This is not news. Democrats have been doing this on the local level for
years. Melissa Bean all but flat out denied she was a Democrat to get
elected to Phil Crane's seat in the 8th District.
It was on none of her literature. Not until DNC TV spots hit the air was
her party affiliation even mentioned.
And that in very small type.
In KINSTON, N.C. they even voted to take all party affiliations out of
the process, and off the ballot. It took Obiteme's goons to overturn the
electorate claiming that black voters rights couldn't be guaranteed
without the Democrat party,
