The one you bought back on 05/06/02 is not one of the current
models
that we are selling. Sometime back when it was brought to our
attention that the former models of these antennas had wind
survivability problems we changed manufactures. The new manufacture
is providing much heavier duty units that do not exhibit the same
problem.

Tim, I'll do just that over the next week or so.
I just failed last week, figured 'buyer beware' and It was tough bananas
for me. I'd be elated if something could come of it. For the record, the
mounting portion, ground plane, and bottom of the center element are
still in the mount, and it works wonderfully recieving uhf..lol But upon
inspecting what lay in the yard, it looked like little more than a
glorified cardboard tube.
