OK it is a computer soundcard solution but would a netbook with a solid
state drive to cope with the foundation not be viable? Small, compact, uses
little power and will drive Hell easily and is simple to use. With a little
dismantling and repackaging, can easily be made watertight and even more
shockproof and a custom Linux build can make it a turnkey appliance.
