I know, the rhetoric is just so oxymoronic, histrionic, self-
cancelling and frankly, retarded. The government is run by
politicians, like governments everywhere, and there is a wide array of
ideologies who nonetheless tend to lump into two and occasionally
three categories. Those categories, when compared to one another,
"appear" to be at great contrast based on rhetoric and posturing, but
in reality they are only fractionally apart from each other when
compared to others worldwide. The devil is in the details, of course,
but the rancor and bluster of one side, usually the side who is not in
power and is feeling temporarily disenfranchised, make it sound the
end of civilization. I agree with Kevin Strom on this one, at least in
principal - we need to get beyond this utter crap.
