The "Indians" were invaders from Asia. *They killed off the mammoths and
tigers.

This is partially debatable, but I won't go into paleobiology and
paleoclimatology at this point. They did get here by purely natural
means, which allowed not only humans but many other species to advance
their ranges. What Nature allows, I don't question.
