How about we don't send them any food at all?
Let them all starve instead?
No ethnic cleansing needed since nature will once again be the winner.

An African lady was on the radio here last month, asking for all foreign
aid to stop. She claims, rightfully so, that it's doing more harm than
good. A point made was that there is whole strata of 'aid handlers' that
are getting rich from the money flow.

The theft from the money buys a lot of Mercedes Benzes and send a lot of
corrupt slime balls' children to European Universities. If any of the
aid actually gets through, it's a miracle.

The food could be, as I have said, laced with birth control and then the
rich trash might stay clear of it. Africa is a mess right now and we
really can't do anything to help in the long term.

The aid that does get through, if in the form of merchandise, puts local
farmers and businesses out of work. It's hard to compete with 'below
cost' supplies.

The entire Middle East and communist China have to be removed from the
list too. It's a never ending money pit and a symptom of corruption at
it's finest.

Agreed.

Last year I met a man from South America. I don't want to name any
specific country. He borrowed heavily to set up a light bulb factory.
There was a market nationwide.

He got hundreds of store owners on board for this plan. The arrangement
was that the store could sell the bulbs, then pay for the sold ones at
the end of each month. There was no cash outlay up front. Good business.

Two months later he went broke. No bulbs were being sold. It seems three
American foreign aid ships had arrived, one of them filled with light
bulbs. There was a condition that these bulbs could not be sold for for
more than 30 cents a pair. There are always conditions on these 'free'
gifts.

My acquaintance was charging one dollar. That price included a twenty
percent profit. Once he was out of business, and the foreign aid bulbs
were gone, the price of foreign bulbs went up to a dollar fifty. That's
all there was, buy them or do without.

I think that is China's long term goal for the United States. So many of
our companies have been killed by the cheap Chinese alternative that we
will reach that tipping point sooner rather than later.

American foreign aid destroyed him and the country has a foreign
controlled monopoly supplying the goods. That is what foreign aid does.

Look at Haiti. Us aid has ruined it's food infrastructure.

All foreign aid makes money for the giver. It's too commonly used to
crush private enterprise so the foreigners can better control things.

So, yes. I hate foreign aid. The taxpayer is being used to assure
business opportunities for the 'not-so-altruistic' friends of Government.

Having said that, I'm not against personally helping anyone. If you feel
you should and can help somebody, all the more power to you. Personal
gifts, donations, scholarships, etc. are wonderful. Give whatever you
can, but it has to come from the heart, freely, with honest intentions.
Watch out for the Cons. They're everywhere.

As soon as any corporation or government gets involved, it's
tainted...and greatly reduced in volume. It's the handling fees, you know.
