Default hoas found another way around the ban on them outlawing antennas

Ham installations have federal pre - emption over any regulations that
hoa's, town or city governments, states, or anyone else can pass. the simple
solution for these people is to get a ham license, even a technician
license, which any 10 year old kid could get if he studied for a week, and
join the ARRL. Put up your ham antenna, or scanner antenna, whatever you
want to, and when they start giving you crap about it, call the arrl, and
tell them all about it.
then, sit back and see how they like getting fined 500 dollars a day for
interfering with a government emergency installation ! the FCC will come
down on them like a ton of bricks.... It really doesnt matter what the
antenna you put up is FOR, since if you SAY it's a ham antenna, it falls
under these protections. Endlessly bitching about it on these news groups is
not going to solve your problems. Remember this: ANY effort on their part to
prevent you from operating, putting up an antenna, ect, is going to be a
regrettable experience for them... One they will remember for the rest of
their miserable, controlling lives...
