30 watt rig, the good and the bad?

Very good.

Excellent noise blanker.
Split frequency operation.
Computer multiplier can be tricked into operating on more frequencies.
Quality build

Thanks tnom for the review, seems like ranger got better feedback when
they
were made by clear channel. I picked one up and
won't have it in hand till' tuesday, I'm looking forward to it trying it
out. It's bound for my motorhome and I hope it's on freq. and not scared
up
to bad.

Good to see I'm not the only one with one, gotta say it's a good rig for its
age so far. NB is really good like you said and the tx audio is getting good
reports so far,
