Ghosts live in the land of strong signals and good
multipath. Several persons in my area of the
world (the southern portion of the northern state
of Delaware - the two smallest states in the
Union) will point an antenna at Philly and another
at Baltimore. They are not troubled by ghosts.
Ghosts result from two, or more, signals reaching
the receiver close enough together and in
sufficient strength to become part of the picture.
