Curly died around 1948 and Shemp filled in until he had a heart attack
and died in 1956. Larry was always Larry throughout. Moe just couldn't
let go and tried to reinvent them after Shemp's death but it was kind of
a flop. The last thing I ever saw with Moe was in 1968 we saw a short
film with him giving safety advice.
