When you consider how much the Thai's love to gossip across the back
fence, his wife must really suffer quite a lot of ridicule. But do
remember that his Thai wife is NOT actually his legal wife. She simply
lives with him for his money. Johnson is legally married to a Western
woman that he married for Tax purposes when he first came to Chiang Mai,
before anyone knew the 'real' Robert Johnson. Since that time, as I
understand it, she has had no contact with him... for obvious reasons.

Imagine having to come home from a hard day at
work and finding you sprawled out, near-naked, in the next door
neighbors driveway with a couple mange-riddled soi dogs licking your
chin.

I'm sure by this time she's used to it. It's most likely as daily
occurrence.

You didn't even realize it till days afterwards when the stories
started going round the CM Expats Club.

Johnson was kicked out of the CM Expats Club for threatening the lives

and is back behind his fortified walls before most people are up and around.
