Just saw a post that indicated that all 266 QSL's for Radio
St. Helena Day 2009 have been mailed.
I certainly would have thought that there would have been
more reports sent.

Hmmm...do you think what you posted above contains any message
about the future of short wave listening?

LOL!
I would think that your post would suggest more about the ****
poor propagation lately, although it does appear to be improving,
than it does the future of SW.
Maybe 'yes', maybe 'no', but certainly a fair question that deserved to
be asked, based on Lare's implication.
How many QSL's went out last year?

I think this is the first time I recall seeing a figure. The 266 may
actually be 'normal'.
It may well be 'normal', but I was addressing your -original- statement:
I certainly would have thought that there would have been more

If you thought it was 'normal', why did you make that comment, hmmm?
Mine was a legitimate question, based on YOUR original comment. You, by
virtue of the comment you made, were strongly implying that the figure
WAS low.
The status of the future of the hobby certainly is a legitimate topic
for this forum. Try not to be so sensitive...and try to answer
legitimate questions without so much tap-dancing, weaving and dodging.
If your 'cutesy' answer was based on trying out for being a stand-up
comic, my advice is don't give up your day job. ;-)
Stuff a sock in it, 'tard boy.
