Possibly you are new to eBay?

While a guarantee would be nice,

1) the condition was clearly stated as USED.

2) it clearly stated "Item is sold in as is condition."

3) This is not out of the ordinary, as 99% of used electronics on eBay
offered by private sellers IS sold "as is" (which is to say, no guarantee).
