Nope - 10 is *best*, 0 is totally hopelessly messed up. *Read the
legend at the bottom, all will become clear. *U.S. is in the best 11%
of the list.
Misreading things like this, and repeating them, is what makes vicious
and untrue rumors start until almost everyone accepts the lies as
truth. *Please be careful.
Bruce Jensen
Bruce, 10 is best under "Amount" but 1 is the best under "Rank"
DEFINITION: A CPI Score relates to perceptions of the degree of corruption
as seen by business people and country analysts and ranges between 10
(highly clean) and 0 (highly corrupt). Includes police corruption, business
corruption, political corruption, etc. Data for 2005.
Re-read and look.
Burr
What's to reread? *We (the US) came in 17th from the best...but over
130 from the bottom. *I already read all that you just posted.
-*I'd still like to see the methodology,
A Methodology that asks Business Men in a
Country and Business Men Traveling to that
Country and Doing Business in the Country
-in-reality- Applies Only To That Country.
Do All the Traveling Business Men Travel to
Each of the Countries and Do Business in
Each of those Countries ? =NO=
? Did 10% -no-
? Did 1% -most likely not-
Do All the Traveling Business Men Travel to
10% of the Countries and Do Business in
Each of those Countries ? -no-
? Did 10% *-most likely not-
? Did 1% -well just may be-
Do Any the Traveling Business Men Travel to
10 of the Countries and Do Business in Each
of those Countries ? -most likely-
