It looks from the UK as though the same thing has been happening here,
as opportunities for clever or hard-working people have been squeezed
out by oligarchs. I suspect that many of the UK's brighter sparks have
moved to the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and
Europe. Where have the USA's "productive and intelligent people" gone?
