When you are looking for a place to keep money for awhile, gold is it.
Bury paper dollars and it just don't work. People who live
paycheck-to-paycheck just don't get the concept. They have never had
wealth and are not familiar with the problems of storing it, safely, for
any extended length of time.

Trust me, there has never been a time when gold is difficult to trade
for food, shelter, weapons, ammo, sex, you-name-it. I think these boys
have been smokin' too much dope or lived in poverty too long!

Check history if you doubt me ... today, even, it is a great commodity
to possess ... trade it for near anything you can imagine!

Not in a total blockade,like happened in Biafra,Leningrad and many
other times during military conflicts . Food runs out pretty
quickly, sometimes within a few weeks . Singapore officially fell in
WW2 due to water supply cutoff, and they had lots of food and ammo.

West Berlin was blockaded by the USSR to try to cause a collapse so the
USSR could have all of eastern Germany.

The USA had to do to extremes to keep is from happening.
