I recently picked up US General License. Do not really know
anything. No gear, but a friend gave me:

morrow mb-585 transmitter
jackson model 562 audio frequency oscillator
morrow 3 br-1, which looks to me to be an antenna bridge

Hey, the last time I was a ham, this was sort of what we had, so I know
about dry electrolytics, but I am puzzled about this stuff. The
transmitter has no recent google hits. Cannot find much about Morrow,
a Salem Oregon company, probably long gone.

I figure this is probably vintage and even has a little of the
original packing. No manuals, but looks like good shape to me. Of
course, I doubt I am brave enough to apply power. Hmm, researching a
bit, I should bring up the voltage gently!

So, two questions:

1) what are these items worth for resale?
2) if I want to be a collector, what would it cost me to bring this
stuff up to operation?

oh, and always the additional question:

3) hey, if I wanted to be a collector... gosh I need a morrow
receiver. :-)

I looked a bit at the transmitter. 10 meter. phone, cw capability. I
expect just AM. It has some sturdy big connectors and so I imagine it
needs an external power supply? Something else to find maybe, but I
figure the pin outs could be knowable.
