Partially correct .Yes, only partially . But ... no official count of
'Return' to Palestine, as it was officially known then, prior to WW1
exists today . Throughout it's history Russian Empire AND it's
successor states after 1918 weren't exactly a very comfortable place
for anyone not of Russian Orthodox faith . And that includes Catholics
and Protestants .And Muslims too . It was true a 100 years ago and it
is true today . Now, since Jews were always and invariably considered
to be a people without any rights and status (read scapegoats) anyone
wth the first opportunity jumped on board the first available
steamer and left . Holy Land wasn't a paradise in the 19th century and
it it wasn't the Land of Milk and Honey in the 20th . . . BTW, who
remembers the ' official ' causes of the Crimean War today ? It was
