Debby says...
URGENT URGENT URGENT
Election Envelopes - it appears that there is some confusion over receipt of
the two envelopes for election voting. Datamail (our mailing contractors)
assure me that these were included in the Break In, however if you cannot
place them, please forward your vote in an envelope marked, 'Returning
Officer"
Then place this inside another envelope and address to:
Returning Officer
NZART
Freepost 3565
PO Box 40525
UPPER HUTT 5140
On the back of the envelope, include the following details:
Name
Call sign
Address.
This will confirm your membership status so your vote can be counted.

Proposed Changes to 27 MHz Amateur Band
It has just come to our notice that changes being proposed by the Radio
Spectrum Policy and Planning group to the CB licence (see
http://www.rsm.govt.nz/cms/pdf-libra...rent-projects/
cb-discussion-paper-gul-2010.pdf)
will, if approved, give CB radio users access to our 26.95 to 27.3 MHz
Amateur Band. (There are also changes planned at UHF but these do not appear
to affect Amateurs.)
Submissions on the proposals are due to close tomorrow -11-FEB-2011- but we
have agreement from the Ministry that we may put in a late submission.
If you have an interest in this area and feel that you could contribute to
an NZART submission, please email the ALO, Don Wallace, ZL2TLL, at
ASAP as we have very little time.
Next NZART Official Broadcast is on SUNDAY 27-FEBRUARY-2011
Next HQ-Infoline e-mailed on SUNDAY 20-FEBRUARY-2011
