to ditch his WebTV.

MSN has been ' loving ' it's loyal customers this way for years !

They've been soft-pedaling WebTV for about 12 years now. I had an
original Dishplayer 7100 powered by WebTV. It was a combination WebTV
internet device and DishNetwork satellite receiver and a digital video
recorder. The whole mess was built by JVC and Echostar. One really cool
feature was you could put TV screen captures into emails really easily.

It was the first DVR to have mass distribution. That's why I got it. It
broke down frequently and every time they sent me a replacement I got a
new wireless keyboard. I have 3 or 4 of them somewhere.
