Jeeezz. All they require is a small capacitor in them and we will,
finally, be able to change lights bulbs in the dark.

- 'cept you don't edver change LED bulbs.
- They last over 100,000 hours. I
- have a 12 Watt LED floodlamp.
- Very cool (hihi)

Dave : Nah - The LEDs may last for 100K Hours
-but- the other Parts of the Bulbs themselves fail.

Have a few that have been running for 5+ Years
and others that Fail after 1~2 Years.

Talking $10+ LEDS and ~$45 LEDS that Do NOT
Last 100K Hours.

For most consumers the newer Commercial Cold
Cathode CFL Light Bulds may be the better 'choice' :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_cathode
Rated up to 25K Hours -versus- 8K Hours for a regular
CFL Bulb. Plus a fraction better on the Power usage.
Plus Plus Less Mercury Too...
