actually it was commodore, atari and apple. ibm was a late comer into
the mini-computer race.



Sinclare was a tiny little computer that was affordable and you saved
programs onto a casset tape. I had one, it was among the first
affordable computers.

The IBM desktop personal computer was the first successful iteration of
what we use today. Not the first, but the first successful. Apple was
the first style over substance computer.
