Yes, his contributions on USENet have been signficant.

But do we throw the baby out with the bathwater? If he's done wrong,
he'll can and should be prosecuted. No need to ignore the benefits
he's brought.

Considering the volume of mis and dis information contained in
his posts, and his often blind allegiance to advertising agency
influence, the benefits are not as clear as we'd like them to be.
