Just think of it this way, in NGs, if you don't like to view
something/someones-text, you simply plonk them.

On a private site, if you don't like what someone else says, you can
stop everyone else from seeing what they say -- IF you are a moderator.
(Moderated NGs serve the same function(s) i.e., you can control what
other people say, and who views it.)

Your only error is giving others the right to censor what you see, and
then complaining about it! If you don't like it, don't empower them ...
