Uniden made HUNDREDS of scanners.
a) Get the *specific* model number.
b) Go to eBay, look up Uniden Model XYZ in the "Completed Auctions"
section.
This will answer your question as to worth.
Yeah, that sounds about right. I have about a dozen of the things here,
base and hand-held, except for one, they all came from flea markets,
yard sales, second hand stores ... I have never paid more the 10 bucks
for one, with the exception of the one I bought for about 100 bucks.
I tired of police, fire, ambulance, sewer plant, public parks, air port,
etc. very quickly ... I will get the wife to sell them at here yard sale
this summer ... probably just keep the one I paid a lot for ...
