I am having a horibble time
soldering
the shield of a coax cable to a copper pad in a circuit. I just can't

get
the solder to flow on the shield. What can i do?

Krem-

Is it possible to twist some of the shield into a sort of wire? If so, you
might be able to crimp it to a terminal that can then be soldered. I would
think almost any kind of crimp terminal would do. You could use a pair of
side-cutting pliers to clip off the excess material from the terminal.

If not, give Radio Shack another chance.
