Like the gentleman said, there's nothing like using a 500 dollar radio
as a fuse to protect 50 cents worth of wire...


The K3 has a gas pellet in the front end. I also have a Delta A/B switch
with an identical surge protector in line, and the GAP Titan DX vertical
is going through a Diamond protector at the wall. I forgot how many 8'
rods I have, but it's at least 4 outside the shack, within a quarter
wave of each other. The R75 is totally floating on the 30 meter
horizontal loop. I just unplug it at the wall.
