OK, I see what you're up to. SHF Microwave has gunnplexers, etc. The
website is at http://www.shfmicro.com/ I believe you will need two
gunnplexer modules and two I.F. receivers of some sort to run full
duplex. Most people running WBFM on 10 GHz use an I.F. of either 30 MHz
(to be used with an HF rig) or 100 MHz (to use a standard AM/FM radio as
the I/F. rig. That's the way I ran mine back in the 90's). Hope this
gives you a starting point...

I want to do it on 6M.
I'm asking about a fullduplex link, "Like" is done with the 10Ghz Gunn.
I don't intend to use 10Ghz.

Fullduplex:
Control up link, and Telemetry downlink, GPS position, Altitude Airspeed etc....

I'm currently doing this with a 6M TX and a 900Mhz telemetry Tx, but it makes for two antennas,
two radios in the plane etc.... I would kill for 100gm less weight.

As for range, I'm trying to set some FAI records with the plane.
See:
http://records.fai.org/models/ Select the subclass:
Sub-class F5-SOL (Aeroplane, electric motor (solar cells))

The current Model Altitude record is about 7K ft.
I'd like to do 10K and with some wind it could easily get several miles down range.
Thus 20 miles to have some margin.

Last Years Plane (With less efficient cells.)

Plane has 144 inch span and weighs about 2Kg or 4.4lbs.
