Bees vera keerful whar you drive in Sacramento.A month or so ago,
thieves stold 40 or 45 manhole covers in Greenville,Missy Sippy.I reckon
the price of iron has gone UP.They are stealing all kinds of metal
everywhere.

Yesteryday, that old crappy rusty metal desk and that old rusted out
lawnmower frame and that old crappy rusty long rain gutter I set out
front for the garbage truck, I was in my driveway, a dude coming down
the street in his car, he stopped and asked me if I was getting rid of
that stuff.I told him he can have it.He went and got his truck, he
loaded that crap up and hauled it away, I reckon to the scrap iron yard.

Who would be stupid enough to buy manhole covers? There is a corrupt
businessman involved and probably some bribed politicians.

I can remember buy some heavy iron from a scrapper, years ago. If I
remember correctly, they bought iron at 4 cents a pound, but they sold
it to me for .25 a pound. I bought some 3/8 plate for curb I had to
diver over to get in the back of some property I owned. I am still
using the plate at different location.

But, my question would be, would he even get a buck for the metal?
