ISN'T IT OBVIOUS to all but you brainless racists among us that
the "Boehner Plan" is aimed squarely at making Obama the first
president to preside over a U.S. DEFAULT?

The Obama administration spent more in less than 3 years than the
Bush administration did in eight years. There would be no need to
raise the debt ceiling were it not for that.

Yeah.

If you take over the controls of an aircraft that someone has put into
a steep dive, you can't just yank the controls back to level it off, either.

How many more years do you think that excuse will fly?

Before I answer: do you really think that is is just an excuse that has
no validity?

Do you mean the aircraft metaphor or the comment about Obama and your
implication?

I mean do you really think that the fact that the U.S. economy was in a
steep decline when Obama took office and it cannot be reversed just by
flicking a switch: do you think that that is valid or not?

Following the analogy, it doesn't help that Obama has "pushed the
stick" _down_ instead of pulling _back_!
