Default National NC-240D Bandswitch Butterfly Contacts Broken

I recently picked up a 2-40D with matching spk at estate sale. The HAM that had it made many notes about mods and issues to this unit so, that is good. I did not read all them before purchase so, that is bad! :? It looked so cool and so many folks swarming around...hope you have been there, done that, and understand.

Anyway, In one of the notes he taped a broken bandswitch butterfly contact that came off from under the tuning catacomb. He said this was 2nd one that broke. There are actually 5 broken contacts

Please! Does anyone have 1 or 2 of the contact blocks for this model radio? Or, just the contacts themselves? I need 5 total. They are the double butterfly style, not the singles. I have asked everywhere and had no luck.

Here is an even better idea: Would anyone be interested in buying this radio? I have several other projects I must start and this thing is tying up all my bench space. I will make you a good deal and all the hard work has been done for you! I took very good pictures of disassembly, bagged and marked all parts. It would be very easy now to get in there, change the caps and resistors, and get this thing back up and running. Unit would come with the speaker, original manual, CD of pictures taken during disassembly, bagged and marked parts, plus all the previous owners hand written notes.

Thanks! George, N0JRJ
