Default several states outlaw using ham radio while walking

I've read that many states are now outlawing walking while chewing gum.
This will directly effect Radioguy.
Next up? The new Wrigley's gum packages will soon come with a warning
label, similar to those on cigarette packages that state, "Warning.
Walking and Chewing Gum At The Same Time Can Cause Injury or Death."

The violation of this law is a simple infraction, but can result in a
$25.00 fine and the confiscation of the gum.

several states have now outlawed using ham radio while walking. this
is part of their ban on ALL electronic devices while walking as a
result of the lady who fell into a fountain while walking in a mall.
however, instead of outlawing only texting while walking, the new laws
state using ANY electronic device while walking is against the law and
violators will get fined over two hundred dollars for doing such. And
unlike the driving laws, there are NO exceptions for ham radio or cbl
radio in these states laws against using ANY and ALL electronic
devices while walking.

Shouldn't we also ban using such devices while brushing your teeth? You
could poke your eye out with that electric toothbrush if you got distracted
by a cellphone call. And what about while looking out the window? You could
fall over and kill yourself. While eating? Imagine the damage a fork could
do! Especially if you were tapping your feet to the beat of music on your
Ipod. And what about while engaging in marital activities in the bedroom?
Thank God for our state legislatures. They have their work cut out for them.
Perhaps we should kick this up to the federal level, since it's common
across the states. I wonder how the rest of the world has handled these
important issues.
