Sometimes going after profits can actually hurt profits.
Which can be seen also in the history of Domino's Pizza and other
companies that cheapen their product in pursuit of profit only to end
up losing significant portions of their customer base due to an
inferior product and thus losing profits in the long run.
At least Dominos has figured that out and changed the substance on their
pizzas. I have tried one and it wasn't bad. I normally go to a small
pizza maker not far away who makes most excellent pizza and, no matter
what other pizzas (chain or single owner) I have tried I always go back
to him.
Yep, I have one like that in Manassas. Great pizza, a bit on the oily side,
but flavor that can't be beat and a decent price.
