There is table of measured values for R and X on page 10.
Just plug them into the formulas on page 9 and see if you come
up with the same answer for the equations in (1) and (2)
For R = 129 and X = -134
R^2 = 16641
X^2 = 17956
R^2 + X^2 = 34597
R/(R^2 + X^2) = 129/(16641 + 17956) = 129/34597 = 0.0037286
8.84 * 0.0037286 = 0.032961
0.032961 / 7.41 = 0.0044482
Side Note: in the 25 years I worked in the aerospace industry
in Southern California, I ended up chasing Rudy back and forth
