The bloody surfboards don't come in any useful formats.

If you are doing SOIC, you can almost do it manhattan style. A lot of the
really interesting parts are in TSSOP. Of course, Surfboard have few TSSOP
boards, and the ones they do have are just a few pins. Heck, I can somehow
cobble an 8 pin TSSOP, what I need help on are the 24 and 28 pin jobs.
