Grupo Radio Central Agrees To Purchase 93.9 KXOS Los Angeles

The Mexican based Grupo Radio Centro, which has leased Spanish AC Exitos
93.9 KXOS Los Angeles since April 2009 has agreed to exercise its option to
purchase the station outright. 93.9 Holdings will pay Emmis $88.5 Million

98.9 KXBT Austin Sold; Will Become AAA KUTX

Update 8/23: The University of Texas Board of Regents has approved the
purchase of 98.9 KXBT. When UT takes over the signal in the fall, following
FCC approval, the station will flip to AAA focusing on local artists as
KUTX. The addition of 98.9 to take on the music programming will allow 90.5

CBS Sports Radio has hired author John Feinstein and KNBR San Franciscos
(and former NBA player) Tom Tolbert as contributors. The pair join Boomer
Esiason and Doug Gottlieb as those with roles on the network. For now all
four will contribute 60 second commentaries that will air hourly between
6am and 7pm beginning September 4. [...]

Update 8/23: WAKT relaunched as Kickin 103.5 this morning. Along with a
more upbeat presentation, the station has debuted a new on-air lineup.
Panama City Live with Bret Brooks Chappel Fisher take what was a vacant
