Vietnam was the first dumb war we got involved with. All those

men died for nothing. Sadly we didn't learn from our mistake and

then illegally invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. It would be

interesting to live a hundred years from now to read the history

books on how America is looked at by historians.

Let's not forget the Second War for Independence which was fought on

American soil from 1861 to 1865 -- in which Americans north and

south lost their freedom. After all, it is utterly preposterous to

posit that one can never leave a "union" or any other organization

which one has joined. And it is murder to kill someone for trying to

do so.

The Spanish-American war -- and America's involvement in both World

Wars -- were equally stupid, and all essentially suicidal.

With all good wishes,

Kevin Alfred Strom.

I wish that had been filmed in 1964, ergo that is the year I was there. http://www.114thaviationcompany.com Tan Son Nhut is actually about six something miles North of Saigon, or down town Saigon. The ammo supply point where I worked was about two something miles North of the Tan Son Nhut North gate. Google,,, Map of Tan Son Nhut. God Bless our Soldiers.
