Look at this-
As far as the Ozone is concerned, NORAD built a 5 Billion Watt
transmitter in the Arctic and found that they could blast holes
in it.
What did they find? Well that Ozone is comprised of the little
ion's
of energy that the sun gives off and that it recombines at night and
can rebuild itself in as little as 12 hours..
Maybe what these people are seeing is the effects of a directed
array
burning off the Ozone in a certain area - it would be a very
effective
way to starve out an enemy or at least make it unbearable to live
there...
5 Billion watts. What a large number channel jumper. Do you have any
evidence for this or are you just stupid?
If you are going to make something up, please make it more fun to
read.
Why not 100 trillion watts.
Channel Humper is confused yet again.
He is babbling about HAARP, which was a DARPA project, not NORAD, has
3.6 MW transmitters and because of antenna gain has an ERP of 5.1 GW,
which BTW is still many orders of magnitude below the energy level of
the Sun, and does effect the ionssphere but does not "blast holes" in
the ozone.
And, it is being shut down.

Actually it was shut down in May of 2013 and it was thought there would
be more activity sponsored by someone else later, but that didn't
happen.
Now the Air Force is going to gather up it's toys and go home.
It makes me wonder what they have to replace it. I doubt they would
abandon such
a powerful tool without having something to replace it. Newer tech,
smaller more
compact design, possibly even a mobile installation? HAARP has been
blamed for
many different effects over the years it has been active. Weather,
geologic
events, health effects, just to name a few of the areas HAARP has been
blamed
for causing problems. Without proof, I don't give any of them much
importance.
The question is however, what have they replaced HAARP with?
I would love to be able to sift through all the equipment and antennas
no longer
being used by HAARP. With the conditions being so poor compared with
what the
potential is, I could use more power, be it from amplification or
antenna gain -
more power!
Is HAARP actually used for anything (eg to enhance HF propagation when
required) - or is it essentially for experimentation and research?
I thought it was strictly for research - to find out more about the
ionosphere and ionizing effects. But with the cutback in military
spending, a lot of research (and other programs) are being dropped.
HAARP just happens to be the most visible to hams.
