My active antenna probe is Installed in the cabinet I used a MOTORIZED car radio antenna (40 inches extended) I got from an auto supply house.
When I am not using the antenna the probe is retracted into the air conditioner cabinet! just like Hogans Hero's!!!!! This set up work's perfect!
