I'M LOOKING TO BUY A COBRA 66 LTD CB RADIO
EMAIL ME IF YOU CAN HELP ME OUT
THANKS IN ADVANCE
I'd suggest that you re-post on a newsgroup where someone might have one
of those. Asking for a CB radio here is a lot like asking for a
tricycle in a dragster newsgroup.
Just out of curiosity, have you ever thought about getting a ham
license? It's easier than ever, and you will have about a million times
more fun than CB. Check out
http://www.arrl.org
Also, you can LEGALLY transmit with one and a half KILOWATTS, instead of
a puny four watts (CB). On the ham bands, you can use AM, FM, SSB, TV,
packet (digital), fax, even Morse code. You can talk using satellites,
bounce signals off the moon, use local repeaters on HF, VHF, UHF, and
use digital tone squelch, CTCSS, and lots of other acronyms. Or, you
can just shoot the breeze with your buds and no one will bother you.
Unlike CB, with their 40 channels, there are literally millions of
"channels" on the ham bands. Plenty for everyone to have their own!
Again, go to
http://www.arrl.org and look around. Email me if you'd
like, for more info. Make sure to fix my email address before you reply.
All the best,
Dave

Please yank that last "t" from my email address.
It's "net", not "nett". You know how to do that,
but the spammers won't.
