"Got Kraus "Antennas."

Moe picked one of the very best. Fortunately, I have Kraus too, the 1950
edition, and the 2003 third edition. Kraus borrowed from Schelkunoff and
Friis. Kraus (born 1910) starts his indexes with the names of those he`s
borrowed from and the pages containing the references. You can find many
references to Schelkunoff, S.A. and Friis, H.T.

I don`t know that Chip already has J.D. Kraus` "Antennas", but I`d be
surprised if he does not have copies. He may need additional copies, but
he asked for Schelkunoff and Friis.

Chip sought and found a copy of Ed Laport`s "Antenna Engineering", not
too long ago. When he posted his request, I commented I was looking too.
Chip graciously offered to help me find a copy too. By then, a copy of
"Antenna Engineering" turned up in my father-in-law`s estate (W1DBM)
which I was able to get. I very much appreciate Chip`s kind offer to
help. I had left my original copy of Ed`s fine book in Tierra del Fuego
in 1960 because people there needed it more than I did and back in the
States it was easily replaceable I thought. Phil, W1DBM dated his copy
(1950) when he bought it I suppose. Fortunately my copy did turn out to
be replaceable back in the States, but not as I had imagined.
