Default Solder Joints in Transmitting Loop Antennas

I have heard a number of people say that solder joints in
transmittingloop antennas are *very bad*. I'm looking at the situation
and I can't see how it would matter.

If the joints are made well with small spacing between the metal tubes I
can't see how the difference in resistivity would amount to much.
Essentially the solder would be equivalent to about four times that
amount of copper which would be a tiny fraction of the resistance of the
rest of the loop. If a high silver content solder is used, it may well
be a lower resistance than the copper or aluminum of the loop.

So what is the big deal of insisting solid metal loops are a "must" for
a high efficiency transmitting loop antenna rather than soldered sections?
