Hope you have a long commute! This is a two-hour show.

This episode begins with a 15 conversation with Angel Santana WP3GW about
the upcoming Puerto Rico ARRL State Convention, and a little about hamming
from that 'near DX' entity.

At the 15-minute point, we get to the main event, an in-depth conversation
with DXpedition legend Bob Allphin K4UEE. Bob has led or participated in a
few dozen DXpeditions, and made DVD videos of about a dozen, most recently
the K1N Navassa DXpedition last year. For the past couple of decades he's
specialized in what he calls the "Top 10" most-needed locations.

We talk about a lot of things DXpedition related, but I'll call your
attention to the most specific discussion of tips and techniques for
operating and working DXpeditions, especially the big ones. That begins at
the one hour and thirty minute point. Maybe we should have led off with it,
but at least I'm giving you the heads-up here.

And I think this is a very good radio show. There are some pretty pictures
and web sites, but mostly it's a talking-head show, and you won't miss our
heads that much. -Gary KN4AQ
