ISS SSTV activity this weekend

The ARISS Russia Team is planning to support a couple of Slow Scan
Television (SSTV) events in the next few months on 145.800 MHz FM. The
first session is being targeted for Saturday, January 16 (may be subject to
change) to celebrate 15 years of ARISS school contacts with the ISS crew

Bob McGwier N4HY, used a Cray-2 supercomputer to decode a digital HF
transmission he heard in the background of Star Trek IV

Christmas Eve transmission from SAQ generated lots of reports

The 2015 Christmas Eve transmission from SAQ, the Alexanderson alternator
station at the World Heritage Grimeton site in Sweden, elicited more than
350 reports, according to a preliminary accounting, many of them from hams.
SAQ transmits on 17.2 kHz
