The IARU has run a Youngsters on the Air (YOTA) international summer camp
every year since 2011. It has been hosted in Romania, Belgium and the

Special-special Scout centenary call signs

Ofcom has announced that it will release so-called ‘special special’ call
signs to support the Scouts’ centenary celebrations. These call signs will
be prefixed GB100, GB1OO and GB1O0, and have up to eight characters in

The date of the next ISS school contact has been confirmed by NASA. On
Saturday, 5 March, students from Powys Combined Schools will get their

Interference from VDSL, the very high bitrate digital subscriber line
technology used for superfast broadband to the home, is an increasing
concern to amateurs. This problem, and other EMC-related matters, will be
the subject of discussions between the RSGB and Ofcom at meetings in March
