The "Scandinavian Activity" SSB Contest starts at 1200 UTC, Saturday and ends at 1159 UTC, Sunday.
Only QSOs with Scandinavian stations count, that is, those belonging to the following entities: SvalbardÂ*JW, Jan MayenÂ*JX, NorwayÂ*LA, FinlandÂ*OH, Aland IslandÂ*OHØ, Market ReefÂ*OJØ, GreenlandÂ*OX, Faroe IslandsÂ*OY, DenmarkÂ*OZ, SwedenÂ*SM, IcelandÂ*TF.
TheÂ*3.5 - 7 - 14 - 21 - 28 MHzÂ*frequency bands may be used.
Non-Scandinavian stations credit their logs with one point for every complete Scandinavian QSO, but each QSO by non-European stations on the low bands (80, 40 meters) is worth three points.
For non-Scandinavian entries,Â*the categories are as follows:
All Band - High PowerÂ*[SINGLE-OP ALL HIGH]
All Band - High Power AssistedÂ*[SINGLE-OP-ASSISTED ALL HIGH]
All Band - Low PowerÂ*(output 100 W or less) [SINGLE-OP ALL LOW]
All Band - Low Power AssistedÂ*(output 100 W or less) [SINGLE-OP ALL LOW]
All Band - QRPÂ*(output 5 W or less) [SINGLE-OP ALL QRP]
All Band - QRP Assisted (output 5 W or less) [SINGLE-OP ALL QRP]
Low Band - High Power Assisted, soloÂ*80 e 40 metri. [SINGLE-OP-ASSISTED LOW-BAND HIGH]
Multipliers: each worked prefix-number (Ø-9) in each Scandinavian country is valid for one multiplier for each band (eg SI3, SK3, SL3, SM3, 7S3 and 8S3 are all in ONE district and count for ONEÂ* multiplier on each band).
