The Birdman was great. We had an AM radio in the kitchen of our Vermont cou
ntry home. Think "rustic". It was tuned to WWSR in St Albans. It was what t
he neighbor played in the barn. Kids weren't allowed to touch the tuner dia
l. I'd sneak in and tune in the Bird. He played Kermie all friggin morning
at least.
