ARRL tells FCC to restore balance of modes on 80 and 75 meters

In comments filed on March 23 on its Petition for Rule Making (RM 11759)
seeking changes to 80 and 75 meters, the ARRL has told the FCC that its
primary objective is to 'rebalance' the bands by correcting a 10-year old
FCC error

Rishworth School Space Program

On March 7, 2016, after six months of planning, students at Rishworth
School launched to the stratosphere a payload containing a 434.250 MHz
transmitter, two Raspberry Pi computers, camera equipment, various sensors
and a BBC micro:bit

All of the indicators we track were lower over the past week (March 17-23),
compared to the previous seven days. Average daily sunspot numbers declined
from 51.7 to 28.4, and average daily solar flux was 88.8, compared to 98.6
during the prior seven days
