Radio-One Cancels Yolanda Adams Morning Show

Radio-Ones Reach Media cancelled Yolanda Adams syndicated morning show
following the conclusion of Thursdays program following the expiration of
her contract Adams, a Grammy award winning Gospel artist, debuted her show
for Reach in 2007 and was heard on 38 stations at the time of its
cancellation including twelve Radio-One markets and Emmis 1190 WLIB New
York. Also exiting are Adams co-hosts comedian Marcus D. Wiley and Minister
Anthony AV Valary. Radio-One released the following statement in regards to
the shows end: The Yolanda Adams Morning Show contract expired and will not
be renewed. We are grateful for the years of dedicated service Yolanda
Adams, her two co-hosts, Anthony Valarie (AV), Marcus D. Wiley and staff
provided to our listeners and we wish them well in their future endeavors.
No word yet on what will replace Adams on any of the stations.
