The final ARISS school contact of the Principia Mission took place on
Monday, May 9 at 0926 GMT (10:26 am BST) between The King’s School GB1OSM
in Ottery St Mary, Devon and Tim Peake GB1SS on the ISS

Murray Greenman ZL1BPU has announced the release of a new version of
FSQPlot, which now screens spots for Long Delayed Echoes. These are much
disputed and rarely observed unusual echoes of transmissions, from unknown
sources

Puerto Rico Amateur Radio Operator Day is Tuesday May 10th

Today, May 10th, is the Puerto Rico Amateur Radio Operator Day, by Law
Number 50 of June 7, 1996 that declares the second Tuesday of May it’s
commemoration via a Proclamation from the Department of State and signed by
the Governor of Puerto Rico Alejandro GarcÃ*a Padilla, which recognizes the
volunteer and free work delivered when an emergency situation happens and
normal communications get affected

Ten successful UK Tim Peake ARISS contacts

Monday, May 9 saw the final UK Tim Peake ARISS schools contact take place,
at The Kings School, Ottery St Mary, Devon. That makes a total of 10
successful contacts since January, when Tim make the historic first contact
with Sandringham School, in St Albans

SARC in Welwyn for Mills on the Air

The Southgate Amateur Radio Club (SARC) will be on the air for Mills on the
Air with the callsign GB2MGM on 20m and 40m from Mill Green Museum and
Watermill near Welwyn in Herts on Sunday afternoon 15th May from 2 to 5pm
